An interesting note is that Sinclair refers to himself as “a liberal-leaning libertarian”. His blurb about himself on the right of his blog (Titled: HOW CONSERVATIVES DROVE ME AWAY … from conservatism, as examined by a liberal-leaning libertarian who believes in tolerance, diversity, and compassion, and is offended way too easily.) says:
I’m James Sinclair, an attorney in North Florida. I support smaller government, lower taxes, less spending, and more individual freedom, yet I want nothing to do with modern conservatism. This is my attempt to explain why. (Or, failing that, to gripe about whatever else I feel like griping about.)
