Interview with David Weaver-Zercher

Thanks again to my friend and colleague John Fea over at The Way of Improvement Leads Home for the link to this video. The video features David Weaver-Zercher, another fellow professor at Messiah, talking about his newest book The Amish Way: Patient Faith in a Perilous World (he is one of three authors of this book). This book is a follow-up to one that the same three wrote about the Amish reaction after the Nickel Mines shooting in Lancaster County: Amish Grace: How Forgiveness Transcended Tragedy. Both books are on my wish-list on Amazon, and on the list of books I hope to receive for Christmas this year! David has a long history of working to understand the Amish, and has a perspective on them that I think is quite helpful.

The embedding seems to not work, at least for my blog, so you’ll have to go to the video on the Fox News video site. Enjoy!
